As law firms grapple with growing client pressure to reduce fees for the more commoditised element of their deals and cases, the question for many clients is no longer whether to enter into lower cost arrangements, but how to do it. However, as firms still struggle to find ways to meet client demands without hiving off revenue, behind the scenes the legal teams within the FTSE 100 and 250 are becoming more creative in their own solutions to the costs problem.
