Berrymans Lace Mawer has won a first-time role on the NHS Commercial Alliance panel line-up, following the healthcare body's review of eight of its panels.
Berrymans has been appointed to the health panel alongside Mills & Reeve, Beachcroft, Bevan Brittan, Browne Jacobson, Hempsons and Capsticks Solicitors.
In addition to the health panel, the NHS Commercial Alliance roster also includes legal panels for primary care; mental health; corporate and commercial; employment; property; governance; and private finance initiatives and public private partnership work.
Beachcroft, Bevan Brittan and Hempsons were selected for all eight panels, with other firms scoring roles including Addleshaw Goddard, Bircham Dyson Bell, Michelmores and Birketts.
Berrymans healthcare partner Joe Wakeford said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for the team at Berrymans to work with a range of healthcare organisations in the southeast. Our appointment to the panel shows our strength in providing traditional healthcare advisory services across all parts of the public and private sector."
The panel review launched at the end of 2010, with the new line-up confirmed in June this year. Legal spend across all eight firms will be up to £20m over the four-year term of the panel.
The roster covers legal services to member trusts including acute, primary care, mental health and ambulance trusts in the southeast, south central and east of England regions.
