Two senior Pannone partners have resigned from the firm and are set to join their former senior partner Joy Kingsley at JMW Solicitors.

Family law partners Catherine Jones and Beth Wilkins both resigned from Pannone's Manchester office last week to join Manchester's JMW. They are expected to start at the firm in October.

The departures will leave Pannone with seven partners in its family group.

Jones, who headed up the family team at Pannone for 20 years, specialises in financial claims involving complex business and trust interests in family law. Meanwhile, Wilkins specialises in high value family financial cases and private law children's cases.

Pannone managing partner Emma Holt said: "Catherine and Beth have made a very significant contribution to the firm and I wish them all the best for the future."

Kingsley (pictured) stepped down from her role as senior partner at Pannone in June 2010 before joining JMW as senior partner in September that year.

Earlier this year Pannone posted a 4.4% dip in turnover and a 9.5% drop in profits per equity partner (PEP) for 2010-11, in the wake of a firmwide reorganisation carried out over the last year.

The restructuring included redundancies, a complete rebrand, and an overhaul of the firm's management structure.
