Holman Fenwick Willan has grown its London corporate, projects and finance practice with the hire of Fulbright & Jaworski partner Susan Farmer.

Farmer, who is US qualified, will join Holman Fenwick next week after four years in Fulbright's London office. She left Fulbright in August.

Her practice focuses on the energy, natural resources and electric power sectors, with her hire taking the total number of partners in Holman Fenwick's London corporate, projects and finance practice to 12.

Global practice head Alistair Mackie said: "Susan joins the firm at an exciting time, as we continue to invest in our core capabilities.

"She has significant experience in the energy sector and we are building a very strong energy practice at Holman Fenwick. Liquefied natural gas, the area Susan specialises in, is a rapidly expanding and highly strategic area, as a number of countries around the world seek to satisfy their energy demands."

News of Farmer's hire comes after Holman Fenwick hired two partners for its Brussels and Geneva offices last month.

International trade partner Folkert Graafsma joined the firm from local outfit Vermulst Verhaeghe Graafsma & Bronckers, while dispute resolution lawyer Matthew Parish joined the firm's
Swiss office as a partner
