Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) and Clifford Chance (CC) have both acted on a $201m (£125m) bond issuance by technology company Dialog Semiconductor.

The bonds were issued on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange earlier this month with a five-year maturity period.

RPC advised Dialog led by City corporate partner Karen Hendy, while CC acted for underwriter Barclays with a team headed up by London capital markets partner Simon Sinclair.

Dialog, which is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, designs, develops and supplies circuits for smartphones, mobile phones and other portable consumer electronic devices.

Hendy said: "This bond issuance allows Dialog to raise funds for future investment and potential acquisitions and comes after a lot of growth for the company in recent years. It is relatively unusual for a UK company to have its shares listed in Germany, but it has been very successful in identifying growth trends and taking advantage of markets at the right time – this Luxembourg bond issue is a good example of that.

"Dialog has been a longstanding client of RPC, with the firm also having acted on its initial public offering in the 1990s."
