"I am a law student at a top 15 uni with a training contract lined up at a top 10 law firm. I achieved strong results in my first two years of my undergrad degree; however, one of my exams went absolutely disastrously this year, and I'm horrified that I may have failed it meaning I would not be able to graduate this year, but wait until next year to resit.

"I'm therefore terrified that I will lose my training contract because of this. Does anyone know how flexible firms are with this sort of thing? I would still be joining the firm at the same time even if I failed and had to do my resit next year, as I have deferred.

"How likely is it that they will not revoke my TC, based on my other grades for this year and my first two years? Has anybody been in such a situation before? I know I'm going to be absolutely on edge until results come out next month but any advice on what to do next or what to expect would be highly appreciated."
