Litigation boutique Enyo Law has hired top-rated litigation duo Peter Fitzpatrick and George Maling from Nabarro, boosting partner headcount at the Addleshaw Goddard spin-off firm to 12.

Fitzpatrick and Maling have spent four and a half years at Nabarro after joining from now-defunct firm Howrey in October 2007.

Maling is currently acting on the High Court trial of former Farepak managing director Nicholas Gilodi-Johnson, one of seven accused by the UK Insolvency Service of mismanaging the collapsed Christmas savings company. His dispute resolution practice focuses on fraud, asset freezing, insolvency, banking and commodities trading.

Meanwhile, Fitzpatrick's practice covers banking litigation, professional discipline, aviation litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Enyo co-founding partner Simon Twigden (pictured) commented: "Peter and George are both first-class disputes lawyers and together they have a breadth and wealth of experience which sits perfectly well with the business strategy of Enyo Law."

The 26-lawyer boutique spun out of Addleshaws in late 2010 with the aim of providing a conflict-free service focused exclusively on contentious work.

Earlier that year, then litigation head Twigden lost out to Monica Burch in a contested vote to elect the new Addleshaws chair. Fellow partners Pietro Marino and Michael Green co-founded Enyo with Twigden, bringing eight fee earners from Addleshaws to join them.
