Dechert has continued its recent London recruitment spree with the hire of finance partner Jeremy Trinder from White & Case.

Trinder, who was made up to partner during White & Case's 2010 promotions round, will join Dechert's finance and real estate practice in the City.

He focuses on real estate and structured finance matters, including commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities, real estate loan origination and restructuring.

In the structured finance sector, he has worked with clients including Morgan Stanley, Rothschild, Lehman, Merrill Lynch, RBS, HBOS, HVB, Northern Rock, Kensington Mortgages, Money Partners and Paragon.

The firm has moved to expand its London finance practice over the past year, with LG's banking partner Charles Malpass coming on board at the end of 2011.

The wider London office has also grown throughout 2011 and 2012, with a number of eye-catching hires including high-profile litigator Neil Gerrard and trade specialist Miriam Gonzalez, both of who joined from DLA Piper.

More recently the firm also brought in capital markets duo Camille Abousleiman and Louise Roman Bernstein from now- defunct firm Dewey & LeBoeuf.

Dechert global finance and real estate co-chair Richard Jones commented: "As a respected finance partner, [Trinder] represents a welcome addition to the firm's expanding London finance practice."
