SNR Denton's EMEA arm has announced its 2012 partner promotions, with three lawyers made up to the senior rank.

The promotions are all based in the firm's two UK offices, including two in London and one in Milton Keynes. Two of the promotions are in real estate, Simon Masri in London and Dan Kidd in Milton Keynes, alongside one in dispute resolution – London lawyer Sam Coulthard.

The firm said that in addition to the newly promoted partners, it had made five lateral hires across the EMEA region during 2011-12. The news also comes after SNR Denton's US arm recently announced the promotion of 17 new partners.

SNR Denton's EMEA LLP made eight partner promotions in 2011, its largest round in three years. Last year, all were based in London except for one made up in Doha.

EMEA chief executive Matthew Jones commented: "Our new partners will play a critical role in our focus on profitable growth over the coming year and demonstrate our ability to attract and retain talented lawyers."

"The combination that created SNR Denton in 2010 is clearly attracting new clients that would not have used the firm without our sector, service and geographical spread. Our new partners will capitalise on this and help strengthen our commitment to better serving our clients and increasing our market share."

The news comes after a number of senior departures for SNR Denton, including London partner Elizabeth Elliott and consultant Susan Moore, who are joining Stephenson Harwood, and Doha-based Middle East managing partner Leigh Hall, who has left for "personal reasons", according to the firm.
