Dundas & Wilson has confirmed that two senior partners have resigned from the firm with immediate effect.

Litigation partner Martin Thomas and banking partner John Pike have both tendered their resignations, which have been accepted by the firm. The news was first reported today (4 October) by RollOnFriday.

Pike has been at the firm for just nine months after joining in January as part of a five-lawyer team from Stephenson Harwood, which included finance partner Ted Harrison. Harrison has now been promoted to the role of London head of debt finance.

The departures of Thomas and Pike come a few months after the firm saw the departure of corporate partner Eric Galbraith to Brodies. Galbraith had been with Dundas for 22 years.

The next destinations of Thomas and Pike are as yet unknown.

Separately, Dundas has confirmed the promotions of partner Iain Lindsay to head of UK real estate and partner Hugo Coetzee as joint head of the firm's debt, recovery and restructuring team. Both are based in London.

Joint managing partner Allan Wernham (pictured) said: "Property litigation is a key focus in London and our team continues to grow. The team has also added Charlotte Wormstone as an associate this year and we will be looking to expand further, to make the most of opportunities in the market."

The Scots firm posted disappointing figures for 2011-12, with revenue falling 12% to £54.5m, while PEP dropped even more sharply, down 35% to £210,000.
