Field Fisher Waterhouse has appointed two additional members to its executive committee.

Field Fisher head of life sciences and healthcare Alison Dennis and head of derivatives and structured finance Guy Usher have both been nominated to the eight-strong committee by incoming managing partner Michael Chissick, who oversees the group.

The committee, which consists of partner representatives and business services heads, is responsible for managing the firm's strategy and coordinating offices, practice areas and business service operations.

The committee sits alongside the firm's supervisory board, chaired by incoming senior partner Matthew Lohn, which consists of four partners in three year terms and is responsible for supervising and holding management to account.

Chissick (pictured) said: "Both [Dennis and Usher] head up key sector groups, which are going to be crucially important to the firm as we continue to develop our industry sector strategy."

The news comes after the firm revamped its leadership structure earlier this month, when the firm's supervisory board brought back the senior partner role after canvassing partner opinion, just over a year after the role was axed after a 10-month governance review.

Head of technology and outsourcing Michael Chissick is succeeding current managing partner Matthew Lohn, who will now step into the senior partner role. Both will take on three-year terms with effect from 1 May, with partners formally voting through the changes in March. An 80% majority is needed.
