Hill Dickinson has promoted five lawyers to the partnership as part of the firm's latest partner promotion round, three more than the previous year.
Liverpool based trio Matt Noon (corporate), Jonathan Anslow (professional risk) and Stuart Kempson (shipping) have all joined the firm's partnership.
In addition, City-based yacht advisory duo Pawel Wysocki and Ian McLean complete the all-male quintet.
The promotions come amid a strategic review of the firm which is expected to lead to significant job losses and a possible reduction in its UK geographic coverage. The firm expects to complete the review and any redundancy consultation process by the end of the first trading quarter.
Hill Dickinson's managing partner Peter Jackson commented: "Supporting and recognising achievement is as important as undertaking a strategic review of the firm, which we recently announced. We are extremely proud to be able to publicise promotions across the board, with notable success in the areas of insurance and marine."
Meanwhile, the newly formed Bond Dickinson has announced its first promotion round since legacy firms Bond Pearce and Dickinson Dees merged on 1 May.
The six promotions are London pair Ross Baker (insurance) and Alex Hirom (construction), Bristol duo Victoria Redman (planning) and Ewen Macgregor (regulatory), Newcastle-based Peter Maxwell and Leeds lawyer Alistair Scott-Somers (corporate). All bar Maxwell and Scott-Somers originated from Bond Pearce.
Last year Bond Pearce made up five new partners, while Dickinson Dees made up one.
Bond Dickinson managing partner Jonathan Blair said: "As we develop and grow the new firm, our people will remain at the very heart of what we do. Attracting and retaining the most talented and motivated teams is essential for the firm to keep providing an excellent level of service to our clients."
