Mishcon de Reya has re-elected its managing partner Kevin Gold (pictured) to serve a three year term in the firm's first management elections.

Two serving departmental heads have also been re-elected at the firm. Head of corporate Nick Davis and dispute resolution chief Kas Nouroozi both stood unopposed for their roles.

Gold also had no challengers for the managing partner job, meaning partners were not asked to cast votes for any of the three positions.

As of this year, Mishcon partners will vote for two of the firm's six heads of department every year, on a rolling basis for three-year terms. The managing partner position will be voted on every three years.

Gold said: "The idea is to keep continuity on the board. The firm has grown so much in the last five years we thought we would put a proper leadership structure in place enabling young talent to come through into management."

The firm's other group heads are: Sandra Davis (family); James Libson (private, also the firm's executive partner); Nick Doffman (real estate); and Joanna Blackburn (employment).

The firm has yet to decide which practice heads will be up for election in 2015.

Mishcon saw revenues rise by 14% to £83.5m in 2012-13, with turnover up by approximately £10m from last year's figure of £73.1m, meaning the firm has seen overall growth of almost 200% since 2006-07, when revenues stood at £29m.
