Freshfields' Tim Jones scores GC role for Rugby World Cup organiser
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Tim Jones has been appointed as England Rugby 2015's general counsel. The corporate star, who will remain at Freshfields as an adviser on certain corporate matters, is understood to be moving to a consultant role at the magic circle firm. He will start the England Rugby 2015 role on 1 November.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Tim Jones has been appointed as England Rugby 2015′s general counsel.
The corporate star, who will remain at Freshfields as an adviser on certain corporate matters, will begin his new role for the 2015 Rugby World Cup tournament organiser on 1 November.
Jones, who served as London managing partner until 2011, has been a corporate lawyer at Freshfields for his entire career, and led the firm's advisory team to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) from 2003 onwards.
