Dechert has added 11 lawyers to its partnership ranks in its latest promotions round, including two from London and one in Hong Kong.

The Philadelphia-headquartered firm, which has 13 international offices, has also promoted six attorneys in the US, one in Paris and one in Almaty, Kazakhstan, all taking effect in January 2014.

In London, those made up include corporate associate Giles Belsey, and dispute resolution lawyer Adam Silver.

Belsey focuses on capital markets and finance, medium term note programs and loan finance, whilst Silver's practice is mostly commercial and financial litigation, fraud and contentious insolvency. He also handles capital markets-related litigation.

In Hong Kong, the US firm has promoted finance expert Karl Paulson Egbert, who advises fund managers on regulatory, corporate and business matters.

He has particular experience acting for Hong Kong and Asian hedge fund managers with respect to fund structures and global fund offerings, and has assisted international fund managers with US legal advice.

Together, the 11 promotions span antitrust, corporate, real estate, finance and disputes across eight offices. However, 10 out of the 11 promotions were of male partners.

Dechert CEO Daniel O'Donnell commented: "The diversity of practice areas and locations represented by this partnership class reflects our global foot print and will help us in our efforts to serving clients across an expanding network."

Others promoted include: corporate lawyer Tony Chan and anti-trust specialist Gorav Jindal in Washington; finance and real estate attorney Jodi Schwimmer and finance expert Jeremy Senderowicz in New York, financial services specialist Corey Rose in Charlotte, disputes lawyer Jacques Sivignon in Paris, finance and real estate attorney Kahlil Yearwood in San Francisco, corporate lawyer Victor Mokrousov in Almaty.
