DWF has made up two new partners in London as part of a 10-strong round across its UK offices.
Regulatory lawyer Dominic Watkins and insurance specialist Amanda Emberton will join the firm's London partnership as associate partner and director respectively, both ranks being equivalent to salaried partner at other firms.
The Manchester office has accounted for the bulk of the promotions with five new director additions: regulatory lawyer Sian Cross; corporate lawyer Lisa Stavropoulos; and insurance lawyers Chris Downey, Lee Foulser, Michael Pease.
The Liverpool office made up two lawyers to director after adding employment specialist Jamie Campbell and insurance lawyer Graham Smith to its ranks, while the Newcastle office promoted insurance lawyer Mark Douglas to director.
DWF managing partner and CEO Andrew Leaitherland said: "We are delivering strong profitable growth and winning major new work and clients, and these successes are due to the hard work and commitment of our people. We remain committed to developing and investing in our people so that we can continue to deliver exceptional client service."
Meanwhile pensions lawyer Michael Salters in London and insurance lawyer Andrew O'Connell in Liverpool have been promoted to partner, the firm's equivalent to fixed-share partner status.
The firm also said nine partners have been promoted within the equity, increasing their share of the business. These include two partners in London: commercial litigator Andrew Leach and insurance lawyer Seema Bains.
The bulk of promotions within the partnership were based in Manchester, with fellow insurance partners Ian Macalister, Phil D'Netto, Tom Higson and Mark Treacher receiving greater rewards for their contribution.
Liverpool insurance partners Stuart Poole and Tim Hoy and Birmingham real estate lawyer Paul Inman were also promoted within the firm's partnership structure.
The firm separately made up 16 people to the role of associate or manager across its insurance, employment, recoveries, commercial litigation, pensions and real estate groups.
