Gide Loyrette Nouel has made up one London local partner to its equity in a five-strong global promotions round.

Local partner Dimitrios Logizidis, who leads the firm's London structured finance practice, has been promoted to the equity.

The remaining promotions are spread across the firm's banking, competition, M&A and employment practices in Paris and Warsaw.

Competition lawyer Dimitri Dimitrov, employment lawyer Guillaume Navarro and M&A lawyer Antoine Tezenas du Montcel have been made up to the equity at the Paris office, while local partner Pawel Grzeskowiak was added to the firm's Warsaw banking equity ranks.

All appointments will take effect at the start of the New Year.

Gide senior partner Baudouin de Moucheron (pictured) said: "Following the recent addition of two significant teams (nineteen lawyers in Paris and nine in Kiev), Gide is beginning a new chapter in its long history. In an increasingly global and complex environment, we are now more than ever committed to our clients and to supporting them in their projects both in France and abroad."

The partner promotions come after Gide raided Morgan Lewis & Bockius for a 19-strong team of lawyers in October, including office managing partner Anne Tolila.

Earlier this month the firm also hired a team of nine lawyers, led by partners Julian Ries and Oleksiy Feliv, in a boost for its Kiev office.
