A further six partners have left Dundas & Wilson ahead of the Scottish firm's proposed merger with CMS Cameron McKenna.

Among the group leaving the firm is disputes partner Andrew Walker, one of the founding partners of CMS Cameron McKenna's real estates disputes practice. Walker joined Dundas in September 2012 but resigned at the end of last year.

The group also features Siobhan McCloskey-Oudahar, who joined Dundas as a partner in 1997. She will join the Department for Transport as a legal adviser towards the end of February.

Meanwhile, employment partner David Walker has joined Morton Fraser's Glasgow office.

Co-managing partners Caryn Penley and Allan Wernham (pictured) said the three partners intended to resign from the firm shortly before the proposal to combine with CMS was put to partners.

Environment partner Mark Brumwell, employment partner Mandy Laurie and commercial partner Allan Wardhaugh have also decided to leave the firm before the merger takes place.

In December it emerged that a group of senior partners, including former chairman David Hardie, would not be joining the combined firm, while a further batch of partners had not received offers to move across when the merger comes into effect.
