Eversheds has promoted 21 lawyers to its partnership in its latest round, including 12 in the UK.
The firm's London office added one new partner – Ben Jones – to its tax partnership. The remainder of the firm's UK promotions are based in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and Nottingham.
Two of the new UK partners are female, out of three among the firm's global promotions.
Geographically, just under half (48%) are based in Eversheds' international offices, with partners being made up in Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Poland and Sweden.
The firm's Germany office added three new partners while the Poland base took in two. The Belgium, China, Hong Kong and Sweden offices made up one lawyer each.
By practice, the firm's company commercial group took in the bulk of this year's promotions with seven new partners, while litigation and human resources made up six lawyers each. Real estate promoted two as partner.
This year's total promotions count has decreased from last year, when the firm made up 28 lawyers, and is slightly down on the previous year when the firm promoted 22.
The firm has additionally promoted a further 12 lawyers into roles which are an alternative to partnership. Seven lawyers have become legal directors, while four have been promoted as counsel and one as operations director.
The firm has also promoted over 100 lawyers to associate status or equivalent.
Of these promotions, 33 were made up as principal associate, 73 as senior associate, two as senior operations managers and one each as principal operations manager.
These span 19 of the firm's offices including Austria, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Qatar, Singapore, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
