Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co has seen the exit of two more legacy Lawrence Graham partners in the wake of its merger this month, including corporate finance head Christopher Tite, who joined LG when the firm merged with Tite & Lewis in 2004.

Tite has left to join Wedlake Bell along with real estate partner Louise Gowman – who also moved to LG as part of the Tite & Lewis deal.

Tite & Lewis was the former UK law arm of Ernst & Young and was formed by partners Mark Lewis and Christopher Tite in 2000. The firm broke away from EY in May 2004 in a deal that saw £22m of debt written off by the accountancy giant as part of a 'soft landing' package. Lewis now leads the outsourcing practice at Berwin Leighton Paisner.

LG recently saw the departure of a trio of partners to DWF, including banking partners Iain Shurwood and John Fox, alongside real estate finance partner Simon Elphick. Shurwood and Elphick joined DWF in February while Fox moved across in April. Prior to this, employment partner Helga Breen and real estate partner Iain Thomas also joined DWF from LG.

LG and Wragge & Co's merger went live on 1 May under the banner of Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, with a combined revenue of £171m. The new firm has 1,300 people, including 770 lawyers, operating from ten offices worldwide with two UK offices in London and Birmingham.

In April both firms made up five new partners each – an increase on last year.
