Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co is set to consolidate its merger with the re-location of all London practices to legacy Lawrence Graham's building.

Since the merger between Wragge & Co and Lawrence Graham went live on 1 May, the firm has been grouping its London-based lawyers by practice area into either one of its legacy offices.

The firm's senior partner, Quentin Poole said that while a definite timeframe had not yet been set for the move, all London-based lawyers would eventually move into Lawrence Graham's legacy building at 4 More, London Riverside.

"Over a period of time we will sort out how we are going to move everyone into one building," Poole (pictured) told Legal Week.

The lease on the building was long cited as a financial burden for legacy Lawrence Graham, which was forced to sub-let a portion of the office to Bond Dickinson last year.

Separately, last month the firm's office in Birmingham re-located from its former home at Colmore Row, to a new 8-storey site at Two Snowhill.

The new 1,300 capacity office has been internally re-modelled and includes a client suite, well-being suites, training academy and a restaurant.

Partners at both legacy firms voted through the merger last December, creating a £170m business with 1,300 people, including 770 lawyers, operating from 10 offices worldwide – Birmingham, Brussels, Dubai, Guangzhou, London, Monaco, Moscow, Munich, Paris and Singapore.

Following the merger, which went live in May this year, the firm has seen the exit of two legacy Lawrence Graham partners including head of corporate finance, Christopher Tite.

In the same month the firm was confirmed as holding onto its place on the Sainbury's panel, as the supermarket chain completed a third review of its legal advisers.
