Paul Hastings has hired White & Case's former London IP and technology head to join the firm's corporate practice. Ashley Winton, whose clients include global financial institutions, social media companies and computer manufacturers, is set to join the firm on 3 November.

Winton advises on technology, intellectual property, outsourcing and antitrust matters with particular emphasis on European regulatory issues.

Berwin Leighton Paisner has appointed partner Elizabeth Bradley as its new head of corporate tax. She trained at the firm and was made up as a partner in 2008. Bradley specialises in real estate tax. Her clients include Land Securities, Canary Wharf Group, Tesco and BlackRock. She replaces postholder John Overs, who returns to full-time client work.
