The Royal Mail has completed its legal panel review, with Slaughters and May winning a place alongside longstanding advisers CMS Cameron McKenna and DAC Beachcroft.

The review is the first since the company's debut IPO in October 2013, on which Slaughters took the lead role for the issuer.

Bond Dickinson is the only previous adviser not to retain a place on the roster, having been appointed to a three-firm panel in 2010.

Dentons, Herbert Smith Freehills and DLA Piper have also been awarded panel positions, joining media law specialist Michael Simpkins and corporate liability firm Strata Solicitors.

Addleshaw Goddard, Bristows and Weightmans complete the 15-strong panel.

In Scotland Royal Mail has turned to Morton Fraser, with Carson McDowell and Napier & Sons appointed as legal advisers in Northern Ireland.

The company's last panel review, conducted by former general counsel Doug Evans, saw Hogan Lovells, Eversheds, Bird & Bird, Pinsent Masons and Olswang lose places on the roster.
