Eversheds and Hill Dickinson have landed appointments to Metro Bank's lending and securities panel alongside 12 other firms.

Metro Bank began a tender process earlier this year in June, and was finalised last month. It is the first time Metro Bank has reviewed the line-up since 2012.

Metro Bank general counsel Sally-Ann James said: "We're pleased to announce the results of our lending and securities panel review, following a rigorous selection process. We look forward to working closely with the refreshed panel going forward."

The lending and securities panel is one of four legal panels at Metro Bank. The other three, which have been in place since 2013, handle commercial, property and employment work.

The commercial panel comprises Blake Morgan and Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, which also sit on the property panel, as well as DWF, Addleshaw Goddard and King & Spalding. The trio of firms on the property panel is rounded off by Dentons, which also sits on the employment panel alongside Travers Smith.

The bank added that it continues to maintain a close relationship with Travers Smith, who supported the bank with its recent capital raise as well as its launch in 2010.
