Clifford Chance (CC) has been ordered to pay out €35,000 (£26,000) in damages to a former employee at its Paris office who filed for unfair dismissal.
The female employee, formerly head of the firm's reception team in Paris, began court action in November 2011 after she was dismissed on the grounds of performance that summer.
She claimed that she was subject to psychological harassment from two colleagues and suffered sex and race discrimination. She had worked for the firm for 15 years.
