DAC Beachcroft strengthens Bristol office in partner promotions round
Insurance-led firm makes up six women in 15-strong partner promotions round as it focuses on regional office

DAC Beachcroft has focused on bolstering its Bristol base in its 2015 partner promotions round, with nearly half of its appointments being made in the office.
Of the 15 partners promoted across the firm's English offices, seven were based in Bristol.
The remainder of appointments were spread across DAC's London headquarters where it promoted three to the partnership; its Manchester office where it made up two partners; with Leeds, Birmingham and Winchester each securing one new partner apiece.
The 15-strong partner promotions round this year also featured six women, 40% of the total cohort.
Five appointments were in the firm's claims solution group, more than any other practice group.
Alongside the promotions to partner the firm also appointed 29 lawyers to associate level. These were spread across seven offices in the UK and Ireland and 10 service lines.
All of the appointments are effective from 1 May 2015.
DAC Beachcroft managing partner Paul Murray said the promotions reflected a "renewed confidence" within the firm.
The firm promoted 16 partners, including nine women, in its 2014 round. Five of those were in DAC's London office. The firm only promoted five lawyers in 2013.
The latest promotions round will take the total number of partners at DAC to 258, only two more than there were on 1 May 2014 because of other partners leaving the firm.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
