Eversheds has promoted 13 lawyers across its UK offices this year as part of a 22-strong round.
Appointments across the firm's Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Ipswich, Cardiff and London bases accounted for the majority of Eversheds' new partners.
Three of the partners are based in the City, up from last year when the firm only made up one partner in London in a round that saw 21 lawyers promoted globally.
Of the 2015 promotions, more than a third took place in Eversheds' international offices, with partners being made up in Abu Dhabi, Hungary, Italy, Mauritius, Ireland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and Tunisia.
The firm's company commercial practice group appointed the most new partners with 12, while real estate gained five partners. Promotions in the litigation and human resources practices made up the rest of the appointments.
The firm also made up 10 lawyers to legal director or an equivalent status.
Bryan Hughes, chief executive at Eversheds, said the new partners and legal directors had "demonstrated dedication and hard work".
Firms that have promoted a high proportion of women this year include CMS Cameron McKenna. Eighteen of the firm's 39 new partners this year were female, accounting for 46% of the appointments.
Allen & Overy promoted nine women in its 22-strong round, just over 40%, bringing overall female representation among the magic circle firm's partnership to 17%.
