Osborne Clarke (OC) has passed the 200-partner mark with five new partner promotions announced today, while TLT has also reached a landmark 100 partners with a six-strong promotions round.

At OC, two of the promoted lawyers are in the firm's London office, two are in its Bristol base and the final new partner is based in its Reading office.

Three of the new OC partners are female. The total cohort of new partners are spread across the firm's projects, finance, real estate and corporate law practices.

The number of partners promoted in the UK is the same as the firm's round last year but larger than the three it appointed in 2013.

OC UK managing partner Ray Berg (pictured) said the five new partners had "proven themselves to be capable leaders" at the firm and "embodied the OC culture".

Meanwhile, at TLT six promotions have been made across the firm's commercial services, and banking and lender services groups.

Two of TLT's new partners are female. This year's promotions round is two larger than the four-strong cohort made up in 2014.

The firm's Belfast, Bristol, London and Manchester offices all saw lawyers made up to partner. Two of the promotions came in Bristol, two in Manchester, and one each in London and Belfast.

TLT has also introduced a new legal director role to "recognise the diversity of experience across the associate community" and has promoted 12 associates to the position.

Along with the internal promotions, the firm has also made a lateral hire, bringing in Noline Matemera from Stephenson Harwood to its financial services regulatory team in the City.
