Tim Eyles has been re-elected as Taylor Wessing's managing partner for a third consecutive three-year term.

He stood unopposed and received "overwhelming support" from the partnership on a 97% turnout. He was first elected in 2009 and was re-elected unopposed in 2012.

On Eyles' watch, Taylor Wessing has grown in terms of both revenue and profitability. In its 2015 results the firm announced that its turnover had grown by 8% on the previous year, to £121m. It also posted a 17% increase in profit per equity partner to £767,000.

Eyles has also stated that he wants to see the firm grow further internationally. In September 2014 Taylor Wessing opened offices in Palo Alto and New York, while in December Eyles spoke to Legal Week about the firm's desire to launch in Hong Kong.

Since Eyles' first election in 2009 the firm has grown from 13 offices to 26 and is now present in 16 jurisdictions, up from seven in 2009.

Eyles said: "Our aim is keep the foot on the pedal to grow the business further from a brilliant platform, but also to defend it in a market where the pace of change is electric."

The firm's senior partner, Adam Marks, was re-elected to the role in 2014 for a second three-year term.
