King & Wood Mallesons promotes 36 as legacy SJ Berwin falls short
The majority of promotions have been handed to Asia Pacific with 32 lawyers joining the partnership in the region

King & Wood Malleons (KWM) has promoted four lawyers to partner in Europe as part of its global round which sees a total of 36 join the global partnership.
China has taken the majority of this year's promotions with 24 new partners being made up in the country across six cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
In Europe, which is largely made up of legacy SJ Berwin lawyers, just two partners have been made up in London, with Luxembourg and Madrid each accounting for one new partner in this year's round.
