"Our strategy is now on a poster on the wall of every office in the world. I wanted to keep it very simple because the fundamentals don't change," DLA Piper co-chief executive Simon Levine tells Legal Week.

The strategy follows significant changes in the firm's management which have seen Levine take on the role of co-chief executive officer alongside his American counterpart Cameron Jay Rains. Sir Nigel Knowles, widely viewed as the architect of the firm, has stepped into the position of global chairman with counterpart Roger Meltzer in the US.

The strategy is distilled to three main themes: integration, implementation and value, set within the "fundamentals of being full service across borders" and a "leading global business law firm".
