Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Arthur Cox are taking lead roles on the proposed merger between gambling companies Paddy Power and Betfair.
The boards of the two companies have agreed key terms for the proposed merger which would create a gambling company with a revenue of over £1.1bn.
Freshfields is acting for long-standing client Betfair.
