Firm selects corporate partner to run its Italian arm as managing partners Tommaso Salonico and Emiliano Conio step down

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed Nicola Asti as its new office managing partner for its Milan and Rome offices.
The appointment, effective from 1 September, will run for a three year term.
Nicola succeeds Tommaso Salonico and Emiliano Conio, who served as co-managing partner for Italy.
