Clifford Chance (CC) City capital markets partner Peter Voisey has left the firm, it has emerged.
He retired from the partnership at the end of April after 15 years at CC, leaving shortly after.
Voisey joined CC's securitisation practice as a partner in 2000 from Hogan Lovells, where he was also a partner.
During his time at CC, he led the team advising Deutsche Bank on the first-ever covered bond programme in Latin America in 2012 – a $500m (£312m) scheme kicked off by a $200m (£124m) five-year offering.
Voisey's next career move is unknown.
News of his departure comes after that of CC London asset finance partner Nick Swinburne, who left for Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy in June.
CC has seen a swathe of partner exits in recent months, some of which are related to a partnership vote in April to shake up the upper echelons of the firm's lockstep system to retain more star talent while also nudging down under-performers.
Notably the firm has seen multiple departures from its German offices after carrying out its largest regional review in years.
So far, CC's German offices have seen nine departures this year, the latest being German banking and capital markets head Alexandra Hageluken who left to join Latham & Watkins last month.
Separately, the firm has hired Debevoise & Plimpton international counsel and public international law specialist Jessica Gladstone to join its litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Jeremy Sandelson, global head of the practice, said the hire was motivated by a rise in demand from financial institutions and corporate clients for sanctions advice.
He added: "As governments and state-owned enterprises become increasingly active in the commercial sphere, public international law expertise is critical to our clients."
Gladstone, who will take up her new role on 14 September, will join three other CC partners working in the public international law group in London. The firm also has five partners in the same group working across Hong Kong, Singapore and Washington.
