Freshfields scoops award for ex-offenders work experience programme
Firm wins prize in the enterprise and employment category after putting five ex-offenders into permanent jobs

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has won a Lord Mayor's Dragon Award for its work experience scheme Ready for Work designed to help ex-offenders find employment.
Winners of the awards – which recognise excellence in companies' corporate community involvement that benefits Greater London – were announced at a ceremony at Mansion House yesterday evening.
The firm won in the enterprise and employment category, seeing off competition from Barclays and UK property company Telereal Trillium.
