DLA Piper, Allen & Overy and Linklaters ally Allens have all won roles on Australian company Link Group's initial public offering, the largest in the country this year.

Link provides administration services for financial services clients, particularly focusing on fund administration, and is being valued at AUS$2.3bn (£1bn) for the IPO. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange today.

Allen & Overy and DLA Piper acted for Link and Allens advised the banks underwriting the float, which are Citi, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Capital and UBS.

Capital markets partner Tony Sparks led the Allen & Overy team advising Link.

DLA's team was led by its Australia head of private equity Grant Koch and capital markets partner Catherine Merity.

DLA finance partner Onno Bakker advised Link on an associated AUS$580m (£274m) financing.

Koch acted for Pacific Equity Partners on its AUS$136m (£64m) acquisition of Link in 2005, and has worked closely with the company since then, advising on more than 30 transactions in the last ten years.

He joined DLA in April from Allen & Overy. He was previously a partner at Australian firm Clayton Utz before joining Allen & Overy on its Australia launch in 2010.

Linklaters' Australian alliance firm Allens acted for the banks.

Corporate partner Julian Donnan and capital markets partner Stuart McCulloch were Allens lead lawyers on the deal.
