Other key international winners in the re-shuffle include Sidley Austin which has been appointed to international investment and trade barrier investigations sub-panels; it is joined on the latter by Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe and Morgan Lewis & Bockius.

On the domestic side a number of China's most prestigious firms have been appointed onto multiples sub-panels. Zhong Lun, Shanghai Allbright Law Firm and Slaughter & May best friend firm Jun He all receiving two or more appointments.

The sub-panel for trade remedies, the largest of the four, saw mandates handed to law firms from across the globe including regional outfits from the European Union, North America, Latin America and Africa.

The reshuffle is the first for the ministry which introduced its inaugural legal panel two years ago.
