The UK Law Firm of the Year award, sponsored by Lamb & Brandformula, went to Shoosmiths after a hugely successful 2014-15 financial year in which the firm recorded an impressive 44% hike in profits per equity partner alongside a solid revenue rise of 10%.
Recent highlights for the firm have included a reappointment to the Mercedes-Benz UK panel, as well as securing a role to advise Hitachi Rail Europe on a £4.5bn contract to build and service new trains for the next 30 years. This was followed by an appointment to the rail company's debut legal panel, alongside firms including Ashurst, DLA Piper and Eversheds.
