US firm focuses all but two of its promotions on its US operations as it also promotes lawyer to partner in Brussels

Sidley Austin has appointed 24 lawyers to its partnership, but only one of them is based in London.
Sidley appointed one partner in London and one in Brussels, the remaining new partners are all based in the US.
In London investment funds counsel James Oussedik was elevated to the partnership.
