Reed Smith has cut the jobs of 45 lawyers across the US, Europe and the Middle East as well as laying off a number of other staff

Reed Smith has cut 45 lawyers from its US, Europe and Middle Eastern offices along with an unspecified number of other staff.
In a statement, the firm said it had undertaken a review of its staffing model which resulted in a restructuring of its legal and non-legal staff.
The statement said: "This restructuring has affected 45 attorneys in the US and Europe and the Middle East, less than 2.5% of our 1,650-attorney population, and a related number of staff."
