Mishcon de Reya is hiring insurance litigation partner Sonia Campbell from Addleshaw Goddard in London.

Campbell is one of two insurance litigation partners in Addleshaw's London office. She was made partner in May 2015, and her practice focuses on representing policy holders in insurance coverage disputes, commercial litigation and arbitration and partnership disputes.

Legal Week understands she has now resigned from her role at Addleshaws.

Campbell will join former Addleshaws' litigation head Richard Leedham at Mishcon a year after he joined the firm. Leedham headed Addleshaw's litigation practice between 2010 and 2012.

Mishcons' litigation team has been heavily involved in the multi-billion pound dispute between the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and shareholders in connection with a 2008 rights issue by the bank, which the claimants allege was based on a misleading prospectus. Mishcon has been acting for claimants in the long-running case.

The firm has expanded rapidly in recent years, growing revenue 146% between 2009-10 and 2014-15.

Mishcons hired alternative legal services provider Axiom's London general manager, Nick West, as chief strategy officer in January.

In July 2015 the firm hired King & Wood Mallesons intellectual property partner Ray Black.

Mishcon de Reya declined to comment.
