US duo take lead roles on $1.1bn private equity purchase of BPP's parent company
Apollo Education Group, owner of BPP University Law School, set to be acquired by investor consortium in $1.1bn deal

Apollo Education Group, the parent company of BPP University Law School, has accepted a $1.1bn (£760m) offer from an investor consortium led by private equity giant Apollo Global Management.
If the deal goes ahead, Apollo Education will be taken private after trading on the New York Stock Exchange for more than 20 years.
Sullivan & Cromwell is advising Apollo Education, while Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison is representing the investor consortium that includes Chicago private equity house Vistria Group, funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management and Arizona-based private investment company Najafi Companies.
