Charles Russell Speechlys adds nine to partnership
The round, which includes two women, is the second since the merger between legacy Charles Russell and Speechly Bircham went live

Charles Russell Speechlys has appointed nine lawyers to its partnership in its 2016 round.
Six of the new partners are in the firm's London office, with the remaining three in the firm's Guildford base.
Two of the new partners are female, equating to 22% of the group, with the new partners working across a range of practice areas: litigation and dispute resolution, corporate, family, private property, contentious trusts and estates, employment and private client.
The promotion round is the firm's second since it was created through the merger of legacy Charles Russell and Speechly Bircham in November 2014.
Last year the firm promoted five lawyers to partner, including three women.
The firm reported last July that its revenue rose to £134.5m in the 2014-15 financial year following the merger. It marked an increase of 3.3% compared with the combined pre-merger revenues of the legacy firms. In 2013-14 Charles Russell's turnover was £73.4m, while Speechly Bircham reported revenue of £56.8m.
Christopher Page, senior partner at Charles Russell Speechlys, said of the promotions: "The breath of talent that we're promoting this year reflects our greatest strength as a business: our people."
News of Charles Russell Speechlys' promotions comes after both Clifford Chance and Herbert Smith Freehills announced their promotion rounds yesterday.
