King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) London construction partner Stuart Jordan has left the firm for Baker Botts, as Companies House filings show eight partners left the firm's European partnership at the end of April.
Jordan, who has joined Baker Botts' London office, is listed as terminated from KWM's EMEA partnership alongside employment partner Hilary O'Connor, tax partner Heather Corben, litigation partner Jason Juden and corporate partner David Parkes.
O'Connor has joined Keystone Law but it is not yet clear where the others are going.
Employment partner Wyn Derbyshire and real estate partner Angus Evers have also left KWM's partnership but it is understood that both have been offered consultancy roles at the firm.
Real estate partner duo Darren Rogers and Patrick Williams joined Ashurst last week, with Rogers one of the eight partners leaving the LLP on 30 April.
Earlier this year KWM announced plans to slash 15% of its European partnership. The cull was expected to affect around 24 of the firm's UK, Europe and Middle East partnership of around 160.
The review is the second to hit the legacy SJ Berwin arm of KWM in the past year. In July 2015, the firm concluded a partnership review which resulted in more than 15 equity partners leaving the firm.
Some partners are choosing to leave the firm of their own volition amid the uncertainty, with a six partner Paris team resigning from the firm's well-regarded private equity practice early last month.
