Osborne Clarke adds three new partners as Bond Dickinson promotes four

Osborne Clarke has added three new partners in its May promotions round, taking its 2016 partner promotions total to six.
In January, the firm made up three lawyers to partner in its German offices.
In 2015, the firm promoted five partners in the UK, compared to three this year.
In 2014, Osborne Clarke made up nine partners, five in the UK and four internationally.
The new partners are located in the firm's London, Bristol, Reading and Cologne offices.
The practice areas for new partners include corporate, litigation and public procurement.
The firm's UK managing partner, Ray Berg, said: "We are extremely impressed by the calibre of these talented colleagues.
"Each individual demonstrates commitment to providing high quality advice and guidance, contributes to our ongoing international success and delivers on our promise of helping our clients achieve success in tomorrow's world."
Meanwhile Bond Dickinson has added four lawyers to its partnership, an increase of one from last year.
Three out of four of the new partners are men and the promotions take effect across the firm's Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton offices.
Jonathan Blair, the firm's managing partner, said: "We are committed to promoting within the firm wherever possible, as well as bringing in strategic lateral hires where it fits with what our clients need."
Other firms to have announced their partner promotions this year include Burges Salmon, which added four partners; Kennedys, which made up seven partners; Shoosmiths, which promoted five; and DAC Beachcroft, which promoted 12.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
