Proskauer Rose has hired leveraged finance partner Ben Davis from Reed Smith in London.

Davis will join Proskauer's London finance team, where he will advise on acquisitions and leveraged finance facilities, corporate facilities and debt restructurings.

Davis joins after spending two years at Reed Smith. Previously, he spent more than nine years at Travers Smith, three of which were as a partner.

His clients at Reed Smith include European asset management companies BlueBay and Cheyne, UK pub operator Amber Taverns, and Lloyds Bank.

He also has experience advising on unitranche loans, second lien facilities, mezzanine and high yield bonds, and real estate finance and litigation funding.

Other recent hires for Proskauer in London include private equity real estate partners Vikki McKay and Joanne Owen from DLA Piper. In October 2015, Proskauer also hired finance partner Alexander Griffith from DLA.
