Ashurst has added two partners to its board, with Munich partners Bernd Egbers and US partner Jason Radford (pictured) joining the top-level team.

The duo will take up three-year terms on the board as of 1 November, replacing Madrid partner Cristina Calvo and London partner Mark Vickers, whose three-year terms have ended.

Finance partner Egbers joined the firm in 2006 and made partner in 2009. He specialises in both domestic and cross-border structured finance transactions and has particular expertise in acquisition finance and corporate lending.

Radford, meanwhile, is an energy and infrastructure partner who joined the firm in 2009 from legacy Lovells, and relocated to New York in 2011 to set up Ashurst's US energy and infrastructure practice. He relocated back to London this August,

Ashurst chairman Ben Tidswell said: "I would like to congratulate Bernd and Jason on their appointment. They both have exceptional credentials and their skills, energy and commitment will be a considerable asset as we drive forward our business. I am confident that they will make a significant contribution to the board and in shaping the firm's future."
