DAC Beachcroft has hired a four-partner personal injury team from Clyde & Co.

Partners Danielle Singer, John Goodman, Nigel Adams and David Knapp are moving over to DAC Beachcroft, along with an as yet unknown number of associates.

Three of the partners are based in London – Singer, who focuses on representing insurers on the defence of personal injury claims; Goodman, who handles general insurance work; and Adams, who focuses on personal injury defence work.

Knapp, meanwhile, is based in Clydes' Guildford office and advises private and public sector organisations on the defence of personal injury claims.

A spokesperson for Clydes said: "I can confirm that a four-partner London-based team in our UK casualty insurance practice is leaving the firm. We wish them well."

The news comes after DAC Beachcroft hired two Newcastle teams from DWF earlier this year, with an 11-strong team in May followed by a four-lawyer professional indemnity group in June.

The firm grew its revenue during the the 2015-16 financial year, up 1.6% to £202m from £189.9m. Profit before tax rose by 9% from £32m to £35m, while profit before tax per member rose 21% to £358,000, although partner numbers fell from the preceding year.
