Mishcon de Reya managing partner Kevin Gold has been reappointed for another three-year term, after the firm held its second ever election process.

The heads of the corporate and dispute resolution groups, Nick Davis and Kas Nouroozi respectively, have also been re-elected to their roles.

All three candidates stood uncontested as no other candidates put their names forward during the firm's nomination period, which ran from late October until 4 November. As a result, there were no votes cast.

Their terms start in April 2017 and will run for three years.

Gold has been managing partner at the firm since 1997, having previously served as head of corporate.

He was reappointed to serve a three-year term in the firm's first ever elections for the role in 2013, after no other candidates stepped forward. Nouroozi and Davis were also reappointed in 2013.

Gold has overseen a period of substantial growth for the firm. In 2015, it hit its £100m revenue target a year early. It brought in £110m in revenue for 2014-15, representing a 12% uplift from the £97.8m it reported in 2013-14. Mishcon laid out its aim of boosting revenue to at least £100m by 2016 in 2012.

This year, its average profit per equity partner hit £1m for the first time.

However, the firm recently halved its New York partnership following a business review. The number of partners in the firm's New York office has dropped from six to three and lawyer headcount has fallen by three to 12. New York head of litigation Joshua Sohn, New York family law head Michael Stutman and family partner Valerie Tocci have all left the firm. None of the lawyers, including the three partners, will be replaced.

Mishcon employment head Daniel Naftalin is currently representing King & Wood Mallesons on its lawsuit against former co-head of corporate Richard Lever and his new firm Goodwin Procter, following a series of partner moves to the US firm.
