PwC regional head of legal exits firm after less than three years
Former Addleshaw Goddard and DLA Piper partner Shepherd has left PwC

PwC's head of legal for the regions, Neal Shepherd, has left the firm less than three years after joining from Addleshaw Goddard.
Corporate partner Shepherd joined the accountancy giant from Addleshaws in late 2014, having previously been a partner at DLA Piper. Based in Manchester, his role involved helping the big four firm expand in the north of England.
It is not yet clear what his next move is.
Separately, James Fitzgibbon, a corporate solicitor in PwC's Manchester office, is set to leave to join Squire Patton Boggs as a partner, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
Fitzgibbon joined PwC in 2015 from Pinsent Masons, having started his career at DAC Beachcroft.
In October 2016, PwC changed its structure, dissolving PwC Legal and integrating the legal team more closely with the wider group.
This followed PwC Legal's conversion to an alternative business structure in 2014, which allowed the accounting giant to directly own the legal arm.
Last September, PwC Legal posted revenues of £59.9m for the 2015-16 financial year, which marked an increase of 24% on the preceding year. Net income for the year was £11m.
PwC declined to comment. Squire Patton Boggs did not respond to requests for comment.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
